Just a final simple thought before I move on (for the time being) to a different topic: The mass-grouping of gender into rigid stereotypes is absolutely counterproductive to the feminist ideal. This is especially true for any statement along the lines of “men always…” or “women never…” Frankly, nobody ever always or nevers.
Doctor Who, Star Trek, Star Wars, Comic book superheroes, How I Met Your Mother, Lord of the Rings, Classic Fairytales, Sherlock Holmes, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (book of course), Lemony Snickett, Brandon Sanderson, Scrubs, Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia... If you like anything on this list, we should be friends :) I'm a writer trying to be an author. I love music and sports and I actively do both, and I don't look bad in a suit. I also like making friends, so don't be shy: shoot me an email, add me on Facebook, follow me on Twitter or just keeps tabs on my various happenings and make a witty comment once in a while; it's up to you.
